Our team of the Institute of Genomics from UTARTU visited Centre for Human Bioarchaeology and Paleogenetics at the Translational Health Research Institute, Vilnius University, Lithuania (1-2 April, 2025).
During this visit partners from UTARTU got acquainted with a new laboratory for work with highly degraded bioarchaeological material and shared their experience in setting-up and running clean lab.
Dr Lehti Saag presented results of her research on population structure dynamics in Ukraine territory from Bronze Age to early modern time. Besides, VU and UTARTU partners discussed research questions, of the ECHO Research Pilot and reviewed available bioarchaeological material from Eastern Baltics.
