ECHO Roundtable: Building a Baltic Network (Baltic-ECHO) for transdisciplinary studies of the human past will take place on 20-21 November 2026 in Tartu, Estonia.
The Roundtable is a step towards sustainable interdisciplinary research in the Eastern Baltic region, bringing together researchers in archaeogenetics, archaeology, anthropology, and linguistics to foster future collaboration in research, education, and outreach.
The goal is to establish a long-term Baltic-wide network for research, education and popularisation of human past studies in the region. The primary focus of it is on building trust, identifying common interests, and laying the foundations for sustained collaboration.
