When: 28 September-2 October, 2026 Tartu, Estonia
We are glad to announce the second workshop in the ECHO training series, organized by KU Leuven, focusing on the analysis of complex trait prediction from imputed ancient genomes within the framework of evolutionary population genetic analyses. The workshop will address genetic ancestry shifts and tests of selection on univariate and multivariate traits with a combination of theory and practical hands-on sessions with the following themes:
- Univariate and multivariate traits
- Collecting and analysing shape data
- Projecting the impact of genetic ancestry on shape variation
- Selection tests with complex trait data
Instructors: Prof Toomas Kivisild (Laboratory for Human Evolutionary Genetics, Leuven University, Belgium), Dr Seppe Goovaerts (Laboratory for Imaging Genetics, Leuven University, Belgium),
Dr Jay Davine (Laboratory for Imaging Genetics, Leuven University, Belgium), Dr Tristan Begg (Laboratory for Human Evolutionary Genetics, Leuven University, Belgium)
